Dr Liz Baker is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist at the Southern Persistent Pain Service in Ōtepoti Dunedin. She has over 15 years of clinical experience working in university, hospital/medical clinic and community settings in the USA and Aotearoa New Zealand. She is passionate about interdisciplinary efforts to support people living with chronic pain.
Liz’s clinical and research interests include psychological trauma and pain, group treatments for pain, and the role of lived experience and peer support work in pain management. She has enjoyed her involvement in the NZPS since 2023, including sharing her knowledge through NZPS research presentations, webinars and workshops.
