Dr Bronnie Lennox-Thompson

Dr Bronnie Lennox Thompson's clinical background is Occupational Therapy and Psychology.  She has worked in many different contexts from primary prevention through to chronic pain management. For the past 25 years Bronnie has taught postgraduate studies in pain and pain management at the University of Otago, based in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery & Musculoskeletal Medicine, Christchurch. Bronnie's research interests include living well with persistent or chronic pain and translating knowledge from research into practice. Bronnie has authored the blog Healthskills since 2007, providing information to clinicians and people living with pain. Her Springboard group pain management programme has been delivered widely around New Zealand.

Bronnie has been a member of NZPS for over 25 years and has served on the NZPS Council in the past. She has been an active contributor to Ngau Mamāe. Previously Bronnie has initiated the social media presence of NZPS and has contributed to the Annual Scientific Meetings and has presented at online workshops for NZPS.
